In May, 1992, the people's government of Zhangzi Island town, Changhai County approved the establishment of Dalian Zhangzi Island Fishery Corporation with the No.29 official file (key words: Chang Zhang Government (1992)). In September, the establishment of Dalian Zhangzi Island Fishery Group Company was approved by Dalian City Economic Restructuring Committee with the No.104 official file (Key words: Da Restructuring Committee [1992]

In 1998, Dalian Zhangzi Island Fishery Group Company was transformed into Dalian Zhangzi Island Fishery Group, Ltd. with the approval of the No. 94 official file (Key words: Da Restructuring Committee [1998]) issued by the Dalian City Economic Restructuring Committee.

In April, 2001, based on the decision of the previous meeting of shareholders, the original limited company was transformed into a stockholding company after having been approved by the No.84 official file (key words: Da Government [2001], file title: The written approval of the Dalian Municipal People's Government on the transformation of Dalian Zhangzi Island Fishery Group, Ltd. into a stock-holding limited company) issued by the Dalian Municipal People's Government. On April 19th, the company officially got listed on the stock market.

On August 29th, 2006, with the verification of the No.69 official file (key words: Securities Regulatory Issued [2006], file title: Notification On the approval of Dalian Zhangzi Island Fishery Group Ltd.'s Initial Public Offering of Shares) issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company issued 28.3 million ordinary RMB shares for the first time. On September 28th, Zhangzi Island got listed on the SME board of Sheng Stock Exhange. ?￡
