The company now has six propagation plants which can produce 800 million scallop fries (3 cm), 10 million sea cucumber fries and 15 million abalone fries each year. This will not only satisfy our own needs in the cultivation link, but also have some excess abalone fries to sell on the market.
Yezo scallops
In January and February of each year, we carry out fish food cultivation, select top grade propagating scallops and put them in the nursery room. With proper artificial heating, we obtain mature sperms and ova which will be hatched into fries after artificial insemination. These fries then attach to the Polyethylene nets and gradually grow into young scallops. In April, the young scallops attached on the nets will be put into net bags with small meshes and transferred to the sea rafts for temporary breeding which lasts until June when the young scallops will grow to 0.5 cm long. Then they will be transferred to the breeding baskets for Yezo scallops where they will stay until late November when they have grown to more than 3 cm long and can be transferred to the cultivation process. All fries must be weighted by the cultivation department, the breeding enterprise and the cultivation enterprise before they can be transferred into the cultivation process. Then certain amount of fries will be weighted for many times and their numbers be counted to determine the number of fries in unit weight and calculate the total fry numbers before being transferred to the cultivation enterprises.
Stichopus
   In May and June of each year, top grade propagating sea cucumbers will be selected out and be artificially heated in the nursery room to produce ova. After germ cells have been obtained, they will be hatched into fries which will attach to the corrugated sheets and feed on supplied feed alga. By late November when the sea cucumber fries have grown to over 1 gram, they will be transferred to the cultivation enterprise for sea bottom multiplication.
Abalone
At the beginning of each year, top grade propagating abalones will be selected out and put into the nursery room where they will be stimulated with proper artificial heating to produce ova. After germ cells have been obtained, they will be hatched into fries which will attach to the corrugated sheets and feed on supplied fish food. By November they will be transferred to the sea where they will stay until April of the following year when the fries with a length of over 3 cm will be transferred to the cultivation enterprises for sea bottom multiplication and floating rafts cultivation while the rest will be sold on the market.

    The company has a certified sea area of 65.63 Mu for cultivation and currently boasts an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons of Yezo scallops, 500 tons of stichopus and 170 tons of disk abalones. The ecological sea bottom multiplication method is the main cultivation model of the company.

Upon receiving the fries, the cultivation enterprises will, based on the company plan, put a portion of the fries into the floating rafts for cultivation and release the rest into sea bottom for multiplication (this is the major cultivation model of the company.Sea bottom multiplication refers to the method of releasing the fries into sea bottom to allow them to multiply).The releasing of Yezo scallop fries requires special fish tanks to contain them. The fries should be manually and evenly released into sea waters suitable for sea bottom multiplication so that they can naturally sink down to the sea bottom. The fries of abalone and sea cucumber should be brought down to the sea bottom by divers with net bags and evenly released there. After the fry releasing, the company will organize investigations on the fries' growth monthly. The Marine Biotechnology Research and Development Department will be responsible for such investigations which are chiefly done by selecting different sea waters with released fries to trace and keep a record of the growth of the fries and the change of the waters' physical and chemical indicators. After releasing, the fries will entirely rely on the natural food of the sea bottom and there is no need for further fish food supply. The float rafts cultivation method resorts to artificial feeding and care to maintain a timely and sustained record of the numbers and growth of the fries.



     The company currently has 4 aquatic processing plants and boasts an annual processing capacity of over 15,000 tons. The raw materials come from the self-made materials of the company and those produced with the so called ?¡ãfive to one" model. The major processing products include Yezo scallops, sea cucumbers, bay scallops, mussels, etc. The scallop processing often includes the processes of cleaning, shell opening, sorting, sterilization, processing (frozen), weighing, packaging, etc. The company has introduced a complete quality control system and has passed the ISO9001 international quality control system certification. The processed aquatic products of the company conform to the conditions specified by the US Federal Sea Products HACCP and have gained the qualification for exporting aquatic products to EU member states while the instant food products have passed the QS certification. - Domestic and International Trade
                 

    The company has established its marketing center and various specialized departments including the International Trade Department, the Logistics Department, the Marketing Department, etc., and has added offices in key marketing areas to carry out classified management over the product sales and provide relevant services. The company also hires professional management consulting agencies to implement the ?¡ãblue leap project?¡À centering on the development of the marketing management model. This project aims at improving the marketing strategy, brand management, media integration and channel development, and carrying out special marketing trainings among the group members, management staff at all levels and marketing personnel, thus improving the marketing capacity of the company in an all-round manner. The company is the largest enterprise engaged in the sea bottom multiplication of choice sea products with its major products enjoying a big market share in the domestic market. With its top quality, the brand has been awarded as one of ?¡ãChina's famous brands?¡À, thus exerting a strong brand influence and enjoying a high popularity. Since the establishment of the Jinbei (literally meaning Golden Scallop) Plaza, a year round supply with no interruption has been ensured. Meanwhile, with the ever increasing coverage and influence of the market, the dealers of the company are also expanding rapidly. Based on the fact that the dealer group is expanding and the actual need for constantly expanding the market, the company adjusted and optimized the original structure and model of dealers, worked out new classified management and assessment measures, added a new batch of primary dealers in accordance with certain standards and market distribution which caused the number of primary dealers to increase from 4-7 to 18. Their markets distribute among major areas including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, north China, northeast China, Dalian, east China, central China, southwest China, etc. The number of the secondary dealers also increased from 30 to over 150. They work in more than 50 cities across China.The original situation with primary dealers concentrated in limited areas has been gradually changed. Meanwhile, the marketing area of the company has been expanded and the distributing capacity of the channels further improved.

    The company possesses the Eastern Zhangzi Island Fishing Port with a 400-meter bulwark, 6 berths (the largest one boasts a capacity of 2000 tons), a 1000-ton ice house, a 2000-ton ice house and a gas station; the Sandbag Passenger and Cargo Port with 2 jetty-berths, 1 set berth (the largest berth has a capacity of 1000 tons), an annual passenger transportation capacity of over 100,000 persons and an annual cargo throughput of 146,000 tons; the Dahao Island Port with a 500-ton class jetty-berth; the Xiaohao Island Port with a 200-ton class jetty terminal and the Dalian Island Port with a 200-ton class jetty terminal
